We take a social marketing approach – an approach that is based on the fact that people go through “stages of change” in how they come to think or act. Social marketing addresses the stages of change – awareness, engagement and change – to help our clients reach their audience whether they are just becoming aware of an issue or they have made a change clients want them to maintain. We help in each phase: awareness – informing and educating;
engagement – providing the reason/incentive to change; change – keeping the reason top of
mind to help people maintain the change.
Our process to develop communications for each phase is a cycle that moves from research to strategy to creative design and development to production and implementation to evaluation and, in essence, back to research. This approach helps us understand what clients need to communicate, how best to get that message to their clients and ensures we check in – through evaluation – to modify and improve as we build awareness and trust about our clients among their audience.
