Cindy Spence serves as Chair of the Chief Peguis Investment Corporation, bringing strategic leadership, governance expertise, and a strong commitment to economic self-determination for the Peguis First Nation.  With extensive experience in board leadership, community-driven economic development, and strategic oversight, Cindy plays a key role in guiding the corporation’s long-term vision and investment strategy. As Chair, she works closely with the Chief Peguis Investment Trust, CPIC Board of Directors and Management to ensure responsible governance, sustainable growth, and alignment with the values and priorities of the Peguis community.

Debbie Burka

Vice Chair, Chief Peguis Investment Corporation

Debbie Burka serves as Vice Chair of the Chief Peguis Investment Corporation, supporting responsible economic growth that benefits the Chief Peguis First Nation. She is committed to strong governance, collaboration, and decision-making that reflects community values. Debbie’s leadership focuses on building lasting opportunities and ensuring business success contributes to the well-being of present and future generations.

Karen Thomas

Secretary/Treasurer

Karen Thomas serves as Secretary/Treasurer, bringing strong governance, financial oversight, and organizational leadership to the role. She plays a key part in ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective administrative operations, supporting the organization’s long-term stability and success. With a detail-oriented approach and a deep understanding of financial stewardship, Karen works closely with leadership and stakeholders to maintain sound financial practices and uphold governance standards.

Chief Peguis Investment Corporation

• Don Wilson — Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
  Provides overall leadership and strategic direction for the Corporation, ensuring business activities align with the goals and values of Peguis First Nation and the Chief Peguis Investment Trust.
• Noah Wilson — Chief Operating Officer (COO)
  Supports business performance, and ensures efficient management of projects, partnerships, and internal processes.
• Mya Murdock — Office & Property Manager
  Manages administrative functions and oversees corporate and investment properties, including tenant relations, maintenance coordination, and office operations.
• Mohammed Khan — Bookkeeper
  Responsible for financial record-keeping, accounts payable and receivable, and supporting accurate financial reporting in accordance with corporate and Trust requirements.
• Tom Asham — Security Team Leader
  Oversees on-site security operations, coordinates security staff, and supports the safety and protection of corporate properties, tenants, and visitors.
• Brian Cameron — Maintenance Manager
  Responsible for building maintenance and repairs, coordinating contractors, and ensuring corporate properties are safe, functional, and well maintained.
